After 8 full days of cycling in the last 11 days we have all arrived safely at Huntington Lane Camp and are happy to rest our legs today! #

Today we arrived at @huntingtonlane nr Telford where we stay for 3 nights to show solidarity with their defense of the land against new coal # Laura's bike was knocked over by strong winds in Yorkshire on Sunday but we are glad to hear she is okay and will rejoin us in Abergavenny! #
Today is Mark's birthday so at breakfast we shared an m-shaped cake of skipped oat bars! http://yfrog.com/bf55shj # From the Peak District we have descended to the Potteries, another site of the UK's historic contribution to global CO2 emissions. #
Another hard day of cycling up hills into the wind, today across the Peak District from Sheffield to Congleton on our way to @huntingtonlane #
But on Wednesday night we arrive at the Huntington Lane Camp to help defend the site from plans to turn it into a coal mine # Drinking a beer in the hills west of Sheffield after a long day cycling uphill into the wind… We have a few 'transition' days now # We have vegan pumpkin cake today because it is Yo's birthday! #

Biketour 2010 started one week ago and altough you are most likely not there when reading this, you might be conscious of this and willing to get an update… Here it comes.
