L’Ecotopia Biketour és una comunitat internacional autogestionada que organitza cada any una ruta en bicicleta per diferents regions d’Europa des del 1990. Durant la ruta, visitem projectes socials i medioambientals, alhora que practiquem formes d’activisme i vida sostenible. Tenim una dieta vegana, prenem les decisions per consens i potenciem el compartir les nostres habilitats. Aquest és un dels valors clau per crear un entorn no-discriminatori. L’Ecotopia Biketour és per totes les persones interessades en viatjar amb bicicleta, la vida comunitària, autogestió, mediambient i en aprendre a través de la pròpia experiència. Online Tools
We try to use free and open-source software as much as possible in the preparation process. The same goes for sharing photos and videos in the group.

On the road
Everyone should be able to cycle with the Biketour. Therefore we keep distances low and have scouts going ahead who mark the route. Everyone can follow the signs on their own level of speed. Any tasks like scouting, cooking or pulling a trailer are shared.

Food
All communal food on Biketour is vegan and cooked with wood on our mobile rocket stove.
Whenever it’s possible we go dumpster-diving and buy food from local farmers and small shops.

Activities

Today=resting day. We plan many workshops; eg. Chernobyl, Climate change, basket weaving or maffia and environment in Italy. #

After discussing airtravel in Travnik, getting served hot pasulj close to Knezevo we are now heading to Krupa na Vrbasu. #
Biketour update for 2009-08-13
Tonite we screen Home in Travnik, again at 19h. We camp in the old fortress. # We delivered petition to Zenica municipality and we talked to the media about air pollution and Biketour. # 10am: Together with ekoforum we ask the government of Zenica to start controlling the airquality around Arcelor Mital’s steel mill. #
